Finding Audiovisual Material
Browsing the Shelves
Audiovisual materials (audio- and videotapes, CD's, DVD's) are shelved in different
areas of the Library:
- Most audiovisual materials are shelved on the two sets of shelves near the Library entrance.
(to your left as you enter the Library). Shelving is by call number.
- NCME videos are shelved along the windows, on the right side as you enter the library.
- Audio Digest audio cassettes are stored in the file cabinets near the back of the library, past the display journals.
- Some books have CD-ROM discs included. These CD-ROM's are kept at the Circulation Desk.
The CD-ROM and the book may be checked out either separately or together.

The Library also has two combo TV/VCR's (one has a DVD player). These can be used within
the Library or checked out.
CD-ROM's may be temporarily installed on one of the three computers at the
round table next to the audiovisual carrel. Please ask a library staff member for assistance.
